Our custom bottle cutting program transforms empty glass into luxury decor. Do you have a meaningful wine bottle from a wedding? Maybe you have a rare liquor bottle from a special celebration? Do not throw them away.
 
The Lighthouse Candle Factory gives your empty glass a beautiful second life. We specialize in custom bottle candles. Our team expertly repurposes your favorite branded glass.

The Glass Bottle Cutting Service Process

Our custom bottle cutting program is simple and highly rewarding. However, customers must provide their own branded bottle for this service. We cannot source specific commercial liquor or wine bottles for you.
 
Once you provide the glass, our intensive hand-crafting process begins. First, our production team inspects your bottle for structural flaws. Next, we use specialized machinery to perform precision wine bottle candle cutting and liquor bottle upcycling.
 
The process requires high-level craftsmanship. We carefully cut, grind, sand, and polish the raw glass edge. This ensures the rim of your new candle is completely smooth. A smooth, seamless finish is safe to touch and premium in appearance.
 

Premium Hand-Poured Custom Candles

After the glass preparation is complete, your bottle enters our candle studio. One of our pouring specialists takes over the process. We do not mass-produce these items. Each piece is treated as a distinct work of art.
 
We fill your prepared glass using our premium wax blend. This proprietary wax ensures a clean, long-lasting burn. We then blend your chosen unique fragrance oil into the molten wax.
 
We offer an extensive library of premium scents. You can also customize the aesthetic of your liquor bottle upcycling project. We can dye the wax to match almost any color you choose. This creates a fully personalized bottle upcycling experience from start to finish.
 

Important Structural Risks and Disclaimers

Glass cutting involves extreme thermal stress and mechanical friction. Because of this structural strain, glass upcycling carries inherent risks. Approximately 15% of all bottles will crack or shatter during the cutting process.
 
This breakage happens despite our best efforts and professional equipment. Some glass contains hidden factory defects or microscopic stress fractures.
 
Therefore, do not provide us with a bottle that has irreplaceable sentimental value.
 
Please note that The Lighthouse Candle Factory is not responsible for damages. We cannot replace or reimburse customer-provided bottles that break during production. By submitting a bottle, you accept this minor structural risk.
 

Shipping, Drop-Off, and Fair Billing

 
We make it easy to submit your glass for custom candle pouring. You can ship your secure packages directly to our facility. Alternatively, local customers can drop bottles off at our retail showroom. Our physical storefront is located in Kernersville, North Carolina.
 
Once we receive your bottle, our team will inspect it. We will then provide you with an accurate price quote.
 
We believe in fair, risk-free customer billing. You are not billed upfront for our custom bottle cutting program. You are only billed after your bottle passes the cutting stage successfully. If a bottle breaks during the cut, you owe us nothing.
 
Once a cut succeeds, we will call you to collect payment. Your final invoice includes the candle crafting cost, applicable taxes, and shipping fees.
We then finish your candle.
 
Finally, we ship it to your door or notify you for showroom pickup.

A Military Connection

A First Sergeant in the NC National Guard brought us these bottles and asked us to cut them and do a patriotic themed candle set. So, we did Red, White and Blue. What fragrance? We couldn't resist, GUNPOWDER of course!!! Thanks for trusting us Top, but most of all, Thank You for Your Service!

A Southern Mist is in the Air

The customer brought us this bottle and said "Make the color match the label and create a custom scent." We couldn't help but notice the beautiful lighthouse on the label, so we just had to make it smell like sitting on a beach in the South at midnight on a hot summer night. And yes, we called it Southern Ocean Mist.

This guy has great taste in the bourbon he drinks. He brought these bottles to LHCF to be cut and filled with great smelling candles. These cut well enough that we were able to save the tops for him to use while he isn't burning the candle.

A customer from North Myrtle Beach, SC sent us this bottle to be cut for a special Christmas gift he was giving. It was short notice, but, LHCF got it completed and back in time!!

How Rare Can It Get?

A customer brought LHCF a bottle his Dad had given him as a birthday present. We filled it with one of our exclusive in-house custom blended fragrances called Midnight Bourbon Club. His comment when he picked it up: "It smells even better than it looks! Unbelievable!"
